Overuse of phonetic alphabets in radio call

In radio call, phonetic alphabets are commonly used for communication and also served as security purposes. One such example is Tango Yankee, which means TY or Thank You.

Let's look at the dialogue below whereby people become too creative.

Sergeant: 57 to 00, your new location would be at MGR 1234 5678, over.
Trainee: 00 to 57, we will be back ASAP with the items you want, over.
Sergeant: 57 to 00, Tango Yankee, over.
Trainee: 00 to 57, Yankee Whiskey, over.
Sergeant: Erm, what is Yankee Whiskey??? Over.
Trainee: You're welcome, over.
Sergeant: 57 to 00, you owe me 20 (push ups), out.
Other stations: (roflmao)

Lol!!! Looking forward to more interesting stuffs, until next time.

Ciao

You know...I think I gotta post this...

Its been inactive for sometime, yea I know.

Imagine how someone can change over 10+ years? The feeling of linking up with old friends is really...touching, especially if that is a best friend. I simply can't find any words more suitable to describe the feeling. Gentle smile...teary eyes...haha...

This kind of friendship is most pure and innocent, since both are children who are friends at that time...

I have a best friend whom I've not contacted since the end of P6, manage to find him on facebook and tried to confirm with only 1 of his recent profile photo and a short message asking him if he's from the same primary school...

Know what? ITS A SUCCESS!!! Manage to link up with him, see his photos, chat with him on MSN, exchange contacts and so on. Wa, this kind of feeling is damn good. Thought of the old school site, where its taken over by another primary school...our teachers...kenna cane by principal haha!

He was feeling bad about how he threw a stone on one of our friends' head during P5 or P6 and I suggest to him that maybe he could SMS and ask him if he's feeling ok, LOL! I think I mentioned about this friend (with "head injury") in previous post before...that he lost contact with all of us...although I've his hp number....

Anyway I'm glad that I found him. Not to sound gay though, but he will always be my #1 best friend in my life.
